On the pre-wedding shoot I knew Giv & Caron would become lifelong friends, we laughed and chatted like we had known each other forever. Then when they told me their wedding car would be the Ecto car from Ghostbusters, I was like yes!! I love couples personalities being stamped on their special day.
When the day arrived the sun shone on Henblas Country Park, if you have not had the pleasure of going to this venue. Its absolutely stunning, overlooking Snowdonia range and the interior decorated so elegantly .
From the preparation stages to the ceremony there was so much love and tears ( yes I shed some also) Everyone involved were so elated to see Giv & Caron wed and it felt like such an honour that I was present also.
The Ecto car was a secret, none of the guests knew it would be arriving so it was amazing to see all their faces when they heard the distinct sound of the ghostbusters siren. A sound we are all so aware of whether your a fan or not. But we cannot overlook Caron , his face when he saw his beautiful bride was so touching, you could see the abundance of love filling his face. But when he saw the Ecto I have never seen a man regress so quickly to a child at christmas opening his presents. He was so delighted and within moments everyone was sat in the car ( including me ).
I will never take for granted the honour it is to be chosen to record such special moments of such an important day. But what is even more special is when you finish feeling part of the family.
